One Step Closer

Kitchen Cabinets being unloaded

Did you miss me?  I have gotten so used to posting daily that I feel awful when I miss a day...or three!  I have been texturing and priming the kitchen ceiling and walls.  Today I will paint the yellow on the walls and the white on the ceiling.  But that's not the best part!  No, no, no...

Unloading on the street

The absolute best part is...the kitchen cabinets are here!  Yessiree...32 boxes...large boxes, long boxes, flat, boxes, lots of boxes!  And, they are all in my living room!  Yikes!  How am I going to get to all of them to inspect for damage??

Filling the living room
Yep!  Time to put on my inspector hat and check for any dings and dents.  That should be interesting since there is precious little room to maneuver around them!  Well, who says I don't like a challenge!

If you don't hear from me by tomorrow, send search dogs!  Oh, wait - I have two already!  I am sure Jacob and Moses will sound the alarm if I get trapped!

  1. I'd offer to help, but there's NO WAY I could get in your living room, let alone get around in your living room, with my chair! :)

    1. Pandy, you don't know how right you are - I can hardly get in there! But, good news is, the guys will inspect them as they install them! I did open one box just to admire them and it was in fine shape!

  7. Pat, how is sweet hubby doing? Sorry I have remise about checking in on you. Much has been happening here.
I can't wait to see your new kitchen. It has to be exciting. I think you COULD get lost amongst those huge boxes.
Take care, I still have duties that take me away from the computer. I will be up to "snuff" soon.
