Tonight was the regular monthly Monday Merriment for my Red Hat chapter (Plum Crazy Ladies). There were twenty two of us laughing, carrying on and attempting to plan our future activities. It is always a fun time. We aren't all OPALS, but we are "off our rockers" and out having a good time together.
It is so important as we age (there's that pesky word again!) to be active - no couch potatoes allowed, please. We need to keep our joints moving and our muscles toned to the extent that our arthritis and lumbago lets us. I just tossed that word "lumbago" in here 'cause I like it. Haven't any idea what it really is, but it doesn't matter for this post. *giggle*
Walking, biking, going to the gym, even vacuuming and dusting can count! Move, Girls, move! Dance, skip, hop if your knees will let you. Run, jog, get out the Wii Fit! Wiggle, jiggle, laugh out loud, too! It's all good! Be an OPALS kinda Gal and you will love your mirror once again! You/we will look better, feel better, and have more energy. Sigh...I sure need more of that - energy.
Now, where did I put that exercise bike...oh, there it is, right beside the couch! Puff, puff, puff...peddle, peddle, puff, puff, puff...Whoooo!
