Wordless Wednesday ~ My Beartivity

Finally, my Christmas tree is decorated and my other holiday things are out!  Whew!  Why did it take me a week to get myself going on this?  I love Christmas trees, nativities and all the rest!  Oops, this is supposed to be wordless...so here is my Beartivity...the absolute favorite of my collection of nativity scenes.  (No, the baby isn't lost, he just hasn't been born yet...he will become part of the scene on December 15th.)

...from a Christmas Shop in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park years ago.

Joseph, Mary, two little angels and a shepherd...

Michael...

shepherd, lamb and camel...

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

  2. Aw, that's such a cute nativity! I got out my Christmas decorations a few weeks ago, but I haven't set out any of my Nativity scenes yet because Baby Jesus is attached and, as you say, He doesn't arrive until December 25. :) So I'll put out the whole scene closer to that day.

  3. How absolutely adorable. I've never seen a beartivity before :). I bet my grand-children would love this.

  4. I've never seen anything like this, although I've been to Rocky Mountain National Park lots of times and seen lots of adorable bears. I guess I'm going at the wrong time of year to see the beartivities!
